Refurbase ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Refurbase mobile application and server software, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Refurbase is a self-hosted device inventory management platform. The server software runs on infrastructure that you own and control. We do not operate central servers, do not receive your business data, and do not have access to any information you store within the product.
The following data is stored on your own server when using Refurbase:
This data never leaves your server unless you choose to expose it externally. We have no access to it at any time.
The Refurbase iOS app connects directly to your own self-hosted server. The app does not send data to us or any third party. Specifically:
The app does not include analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, crash reporting services, or any form of tracking.
The Refurbase marketing website (this site) does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind. No personal information is collected when you visit this site.
Refurbase is a business tool intended for use by adults in a professional context. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Because all data is stored on your own server, security is primarily in your hands. We strongly recommend using HTTPS, keeping your server software up to date, and using strong unique passwords for all accounts. Within the app, all credentials are stored using platform-level secure storage.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at [email protected].
This policy applies to the Refurbase mobile application available on the Apple App Store and the Refurbase server software for Windows.
